We have just taken the difficult decision to postpone again the re-opening of our establishment, which we had initially planned for 17 April, and then for 12 May...

For those of you who have booked an island getaway, we can only imagine how disappointing this news will be. This is not a decision that we made lightly. Like you, we are extremely eager to get back to life as it was before the pandemic, and our teams had already started planning for the absence of “normal” restaurant service over the initial few weeks by devising enjoyable and high-quality alternative settings.

Our schedule was streamlined to its most essential elements for the first month of opening, as European airlines are only scheduling flights to Corsica on a piecemeal basis before mid-May, and at the national level there is still uncertainty about the frequency of air routes.

To err on the side of optimism, we could have taken the risk of maintaining the date for re-opening despite the reduced flight services to the destination. We have faced this situation many times in the past, but the configuration of our establishment is such that a partial opening is unfortunately quite impossible, and the restaurant will be able to open from June 03 only..

We sincerely hope that this change of heart due to factors well beyond our control will not prevent us from having the pleasure of welcoming you to Cala Rossa on other dates in 2021 or 2022.
